Onee-chan ga Kita! – 03

Clocking in at a little over two minutes, there is no reason not to watch Onee-chan ga Kita! except for a little over two minutes. However, that is tantamount to saying you are not going to watch any television because you lost the remote and it would take to long to find it. Make the effort and you will be rewarded. In this case, you will be rewarded with an absolutely adorable short about a sisters love for her new younger brother.

Trust me when I say you will be calling the EMTs once you finish watching. The doting antics of Mizuhara are too much for the heart. Mind you, there are those without hearts who will find the contents of these little-over-two-minutes to be dull and a waste of time. To these “people” I apologize. Get help.

“If I do not embrace Tomo at least once a day, I go into convulsions!”

This episode was simply amazing. There is something about triangle mouths that just put the heart at ease. You see it flapping about and you know that all is right with the world (in a select few first world countries). My only complaint would have to be that Mizuhara did not get enough screentime. With the introduction of her two friends it was too be expected they would take the spotlight, but I still would have liked to have seen more of her.

Beyond that, there is very little you can do wrong when you only have a little over two minutes. At the same time, there is very little you can do when you only have a little over two minutes. I hope we do not stray too far from Mizuhara in future episodes. I really do not care for Tomo or any of the supporting cast. Naturally, Fujisaki will become a point of interest later on, but I can only hope that Mizuhara will be there to steal the spotlight.

Mizuhara defends her flat-pride.

You will have to forgive this rather short post. There simply is not that much to talk about a show that is a little over two minutes long especially when it is a comedy. Each week we will see Mizuhara nose her way into a different aspect of Tomo’s life.

I strongly recommend this to anyone who does not have a schedule without a little over two minutes of leeway.

  1. This is truly an amazing blog. I do not know much about this, but this blog has made me want to learn more.

    1. All I did was find the right theme for my intended background image. It is hardly amazing. Thank you, though.

  2. Sounds pretty interesting. My friend is trying to get me into more anime so I think your blog will help me find new ones.

    1. I hope that it can. This specific series, however, probably would not entertain you the same way it does me.
